Rubber Band Firing Mechanism
The main barrel operates using a muzzle-loading rapid-fire system equipped with safe rubber band ammunition. A built-in mechanical structure simulates recoil during operation. Users load the bands onto the top rack, pulling them back to engage the firing pin before releasing them toward designated targets.
Hand-Cranked Elevation Gear
A side-mounted hand crank controls the vertical targeting angle of the main barrel. Rotating the gear mechanism adjusts the elevation between 90 and 130 degrees. The interlocking wooden gears hold the chosen position securely, allowing precise alignment without requiring external tools or locking pins.
Telescoping Tripod and Wheels
The lower frame incorporates a telescoping tripod base system for stability during operation. Two large, detachable spoked wheels allow for different structural configurations. A single gunner’s seat attaches directly to the rear section of the mount, providing an accurate representation of a mobile mechanical weapons platform.
Auxiliary Sight and Magazine
The structure includes several modular add-ons to complete the mechanical 3D puzzle. A replaceable auxiliary sight and ballistic panel mount to the upper receiver. A detachable side magazine fits into the main housing, and a small emergency repair kit attaches to the side of the chassis.
Medium Difficulty Assembly
The complete set consists of 133 pre-cut pieces, requiring approximately 1.5 hours to build. Rated at a medium three-star difficulty level, the construction process relies on connecting the interlocking wooden components. The final assembled size of the anti-aircraft gun reaches 350 by 170 by 162 millimeters.
